27th Jul 2020

As holidaymakers gear up their RVs, Executive Chef of The Prince Hotel, Daniel Hawkins and Host of iFishTV, Paul Worsteling have got travellers covered when it comes to fishing and cooking on the road in a new lifestyle series by Jayco and Let’s Go Motorhomes.

The social media video series titled, ‘Jayco presents Let’s Go…’ showcases helpful hints that come with the RV lifestyle. From fishing, cooking and health and wellness to RV maintenance and van tours, the series will cover a wide range of topics for everyone interested in camping and life on the road.

Launching across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube this month, the first videos will include easy-to-follow camping recipes and cooking tips by renowned Melbourne chef, Daniel Hawkins and fishing tips and tricks by one of the most recognisable faces in recreational fishing, Paul Worsteling.

“My family and I love to go camping, and we can’t wait to get back out again,” said Mr Hawkins. “When you’re on a road trip holiday, you’re going to need lots of delicious meals, especially if you’re travelling with kids or in a big group.

“In the upcoming Jayco presents Let’s Go…Cooking series, I’ll show you how easy it is to prepare some delicious fish and BBQ recipes that everyone will love. I also reveal some of my favourite RV pantry staples and show you how to keep your food fresher for longer while on the road,” said Mr Hawkins.

Host of iFishTV, Paul Worsteling said fishing is one of the most popular camping activities for families.  “Fishing’s got to be one of the best things you can do with your kids. It gets you outdoors and gives you one-on-one time with your family. In my Jayco presents Let’s Go…Fishing series, I answer some of your most frequently asked questions. From how to tie a simple uni knot to catching cod with cheese, I’ve got you covered,” he said.

Jayco National Sales Manager, Scott Jones, said new interest from first-time caravanners as well as current customers who are always looking for travel hints and fresh content inspired the creation of the social media series.

“Whether you’re new to caravanning or an experienced traveller, it can never hurt to brush up on a few lifestyle tips and tricks before you embark on your adventure. Jayco presents Let’s Go… will cover everything you need to know about caravanning and motorhoming in a series of short videos,” said Mr Jones.

“We’re proud to launch this new content series in partnership with Jayco Australia,” said Let’s Go Motorhomes General Manager, John Papadimitriou. “If you’ve bought your own RV or you might be renting one for the first time, the Jayco presents Let’s Go…series will become your go-to guide with helpful information on how to make your journey easier and more enjoyable,” he said.
